Hey! I’m Nicola, the owner and head coach at Fit n Fearless.
As a personal trainer and an online fitness coach, my mission is to help people to be strong both physically and mentally. I would love to help you on your journey to feeling incredible in your own skin.

The first month of the year is done, and it feels like a good moment to pause before pushing.
January at Fit N Fearless was about clarity, intention, and setting stronger foundations.
I started the year with a vision board workshop, creating space to slow down, reflect, and get clear on what people truly want their year to look and feel like.
A big focus this month has been nutrition coaching. Supporting clients to eat in a way that feels sustainable, confident. Teaching them how to fuel their training, improve energy, and trust their food choices again. Watching that confidence grow is one of the most rewarding parts of coaching.
Behind the scenes, I also made the decision to step away from small group fitness moving into 2026. A choice to focus more deeply on coaching, education, and delivering a higher level of support and results for my clients.
Online coaching has also evolved this year, with clearer structure, stronger accountability, and more personalised guidance. The goal is simple: to make sure clients are leveling up and supported every step of the way.
Looking ahead to 2026, one of my biggest goals is to help my clients take their goals to the next level.
Building confidence in the gym and with food, creating strong foundations, and achieving results that last well beyond a single phase.

I don’t do it all at once.
I just choose what matters most right now and let the rest sit without guilt.

To feel capable, not punished.
To build a body that feels strong, not just looks a certain way.
Looking “fit” means nothing if you’re exhausted, anxious, and constantly at war with yourself.
That’s why I coach the way I do.

About to enter single digits 🫣
Ticking boxes, practising daily and following the plan. Nothing fancy at this stage, just making sure everything is being done and executing correctly.
Prep becomes simple when you don’t complicate it, listen to your coach and enjoy every step.
That’s my plan for the next 10 weeks and beyond.

Your digestion and hunger cues would improve if you actually paid attention to your food.
This isn’t about discipline, being perfect or eating rules.
It’s about how your body is designed to respond to food.
When we eat while distracted by screens, or rush through meals without properly chewing, our digestion struggles. Nutrients aren’t absorbed as well, the gut has to work harder, and hunger cues can get completely muddled. That’s why people can:
- Eat a meal and still feel hungry an hour later
- Feel bloated or sluggish after eating
- Snack constantly without real satisfaction
Starting your day with protein and fibre makes a big difference too. Protein helps you feel full, stabilises blood sugar, and supports energy. Fibre feeds your gut, slows digestion, and keeps hunger in check naturally.
When you make these shifts like slowing down, chewing properly, eating without distractions, and prioritising protein and fibre. Your body starts to reset:
- Hunger signals become clearer
- Meals feel more satisfying
- Digestion improves, and energy levels stabilise
This isn’t about restriction or cutting foods out.
It’s about learning to listen to your body again, trust hunger, and give it what it actually needs.

When Gail first started training, she had no confidence in the gym.
She didn’t know what exercises to do, felt unsure around equipment, and constantly questioned whether she was doing things right.
She didn’t come in loud or confident.
She always came in willing to learn, and gave everything a go.
Willing to keep showing up even when she felt uncomfortable.
Now, Gail walks into the gym and gives anything a go. She shows up, trains with confidence, and trusts herself to follow the plan. Having confidence in her ability and strength to ask questions.
What I love most about Gail is how she shows up not just for herself, but for others.
She’s the cheerleader and Mumma bear of the Fit N Fearless team. Always encouraging. Always supportive. Always reminding people that everyone’s journey in the gym looks different, and that you don’t need to be confident on day one to belong here.
This photoshoot isn’t about a body or a moment.
It’s about someone who walked into her first photoshoot having a panic attack, but she has showed up every year since. Gaining more confidence and she kept backing herself.
