Hey! I’m Nicola, the owner and head coach at Fit n Fearless.
As a personal trainer and an online fitness coach, my mission is to help people to be strong both physically and mentally. I would love to help you on your journey to feeling incredible in your own skin.
As your fitness coach, I will do all it takes to keep you on track to reaching your body goals, whatever they may be. Along the way, we’ll gradually shift your mindset so you feel strong, confident and inspiring.

Waiting until lunch time to eat doesn’t make you lose weight, it can actually make you consume more food. Doing the opposite of your intention.
After you have fasted overnight, your stomach is empty and your ghrelin levels (the “hunger hormone”) rise, telling your brain it’s time to eat. The longer you wait, the stronger those signals become.
At the same time, your blood sugar has been low since you woke up. Without fuel, your brain and body have less energy, and the hormones that tell you you’re full are weaker. That’s why skipping breakfast often makes you crave sugary sweets or carb-heavy foods and overeat after lunch time. Because your energy is low.
Eating something balanced in the morning, with protein, carbs, a source of fat helps to reduce those undeniable cravings.
So skipping breakfast isn’t really saving calories, it’s actually making you consume more food and making poorer decisions.

A year ago is went solo
I booked a trip to Thailand, alone and no idea what I was getting myself into.
I booked a group tour with a bunch of strangers, and absolutely winged the rest.
If you know me, I am a planner. I am always organised and hate being still.
I needed to be shaken up. I was broken, had no passion, no drive and had been knocked down for months.
I was in the worst mental health space in a very long time.
So I took a leap, trusted myself and left fear behind.
It was the best decision I have made. I came back in love with MY life again, I took control and I built my trust with myself.
I knew I couldn’t let other people bring me down, and make me feel small again. It was time to take control and the opportunities which followed in 2025 still have me feeling so grateful.
So if you feel stuck, take a leap, do something new and most importantly build trust with yourself again.
You deserve that.

2025 has been a year of serious progress for the FnF team.
Here are a few legends that have made serious physical progress this year.
From showing up consistently in the gym, to staying on track with their nutrition, to pushing through the tough days. If only it was this simple to show the mental progress made too.
It so rewarding to look back at the effort, discipline, and commitment that went into the progress from each client this year. Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it, seeing everyone reach new milestones and gain confidence along the way has been incredible.

Santa’s helpers delivering gifts to Rockingham Hospital today 🎄
This year Snap Rockingham and myself have teamed up with the Rockingham General Hospital to support their rehab garden, for their patients.
We donated gifts for their quiz night fundraisers and even participated in a quiz (we weren’t very good, competition was fierce)
For Christmas the generous members of Snap Rockingham donated gifts for patients staying in hospital over Christmas. It was an honour to be able to deliver these to the community today.
We hope to make their day a little more special 💙

Coaching Ellie through a bodybuilding prep has been something special to witness.
From my side, I saw the early mornings, the tired check-ins, the moments where prep felt hard and progress felt slow. Bodybuilding prep isn’t just physical, it tests patience, mindset, and how you respond when energy is low and everything feels harder than it should. Ellie showed up regardless.
From pre-prep to show day, this transformation reflects consistency, discipline, and complete trust in the process. Ellie committed fully, even on the days that challenged her the most. I am so proud of the progress she made, and continues to make post show.
Show day is just one moment. The real win is the resilience Ellie built and I couldn’t be prouder to have coached her through all phases of bodybuilding.

Eating out shouldn’t make you second-guess yourself 🤨
Having a meal out isn’t just about food, it’s about the experience. Savouring the flavours, enjoying the company, and making memories, most importantly having food you love.
These small things help build confidence with your food choices. To help remove overwhelm when ordering so you can enjoy eating out without stress or guilt. No restriction, no panic ordering, and no feeling like one meal has “ruined” your progress.
Because confidence around food is what allows you to stay consistent at restaurants, social events, and everywhere in between.
